Dr. Stopper received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and continued his post-graduate education with a residency/chief residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. He received his fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases and cardiovascular electrophysiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Stopper is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography. Dr. Stopper specializes in the comprehensive treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).
