Current Visitor Guidelines
For your safety, as well as the safety of patients and caregivers
Entrances have been limited at all hospitals, please follow campus signage. Emergency Departments are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Screeners will staff entrances 24/7 until further notice and will reinforce the following restrictions:
Hospitals
- No inpatient visitation will be permitted unless for the following:
- Patient with an end-of-life situation
- Patient on the labor and delivery unit (1 visitor allowed)
- Pediatrics and NICU (parents allowed)
- Patient requiring informed clinical authorization support, i.e. informed consent (1 visitor allowed)
- Patient requiring discharge support (1 visitor allowed)
- No visitors with respiratory or flu-like symptoms (cold, cough, fever, muscle aches) are permitted to visit patients or wait within the facility.
Outpatient Procedures and ER Visitation
- One support person will be permitted.
- No minor family members or visitors, under 18 years of age, will be permitted.
Outpatient Clinics and Sites
- One support person will be permitted.
- The OB/GYN clinics at Mt. Pleasant and Quincy Ave continue to have COVID 19 restrictions. They are not allowing patients to bring a support person(s).
If someone has traveled from a high-risk area for COVID-19, had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19, and cough, fever or difficulty breathing, they will not be allowed to visit unless seeking medical care themselves.
