Jaromir Kohout, M.D., received his medical degree from Charles University Faculty of Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic. He completed residencies in general surgery at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and in cardiothoracic surgery at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Kohout also completed fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts; and trauma/surgical critical care at Albany Medical Center, Albany, New York. Dr. Kohout is board certified in surgery, surgical critical care and thoracic and cardiac surgery.
